Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Placesite AI ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, free and paid.

2. Description of service

Placesite AI generates static websites from publicly available Google Business Profile data. You provide a Google Maps link; we scrape business information, generate AI content, and publish a website on a Placesite AI subdomain or your custom domain.

3. Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address and keep your password secure.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• Free accounts are limited to 1 generated website and 3 generation attempts per 24 hours.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Generate websites for businesses you do not represent or have permission to represent.
• Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, infringing, or harmful.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, abuse the generation system, or reverse-engineer the Service.
• Use the Service to send spam or conduct phishing.
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent.

5. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of your business data and any content you upload (logos, photos, text edits). The AI-generated content is provided to you under a non-exclusive license for use on your generated website. We retain ownership of the Placesite AI platform, templates, and tooling.

6. Payments and subscriptions

• Paid plans are billed yearly per website via Stripe.
• All prices are in euros (€) and exclude applicable taxes.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us within 14 days of purchase.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

7. Availability and uptime

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We may perform maintenance with or without notice. We are not liable for losses resulting from downtime.

8. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost revenue or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your generated websites and data will be deleted within 30 days.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Polish law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Poland, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide otherwise.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will notify users by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
